Traffic Police Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police on Sunday issued an advisory for commuters from 4:00 pm to 10 pm on Monday, April 1. The traffic in various parts of the city is likely to be affected due to the various programmes being organised at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. These programmes are expected to attract a large gathering of people due to which the areas around the Bharat Mandapam might witness traffic snarls.

In view of various functions being organized at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan on 01.04.2024, special traffic arrangements will be effective.

Following Is The List Of Traffic Restrictions And Diversions
To ensure smooth traffic management in the vicinity of the Pragati Maidan following measures will be taken:
No vehicle will be allowed to halt or park anywhere on Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg and, Subramania Bharti Marg.
General entry for the public is not allowed.
Vehicles parked on the above roads shall be towed away and prosecuted for improper parking and disobeying lawful instructions.

The Delhi Police has asked for the cooperation of the commuters by avoiding and bypassing the above-mentioned roads.
“If possible please make maximum use of public transport,” read a statement from the advisory.
The advisory says that people travelling to the ISBT, railway stations, and airports are advised to start their journeys ahead of time so that they do not miss their modes of transportation.
