Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Schedule

As mentioned earlier, the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be conducted in a total of seven phases and the results will be declared on June 4, 2024. Speaking of the Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the voting for its 40 seats will not be done in a single phase but will be done across all the seven phases. Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Phase

The voting for nine seats will be done in the first and second phase of the Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024 – on April 19, voting will be done in Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada and Jamui and on April 26, the voting will be done in Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Banka and Bhagalpur. The voting for another fifteen seats will be done in the third, fourth and fifth phase – on May 7, voting will be done in Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria; on May 13, there will be voting in Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai and Munger; on May 20, voting will be conducted in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Saran and Hajipur.

The voting for the remaining seats out of the total 40 seats will be done in the sixth and seventh phase – On May 25, it is a voting day for Valmiki Nagar, Paschim Champaran, Purvi Champaan, Sheohar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Siwan and Maharajganj; on June 1, voting will be done in Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat and Jahanabad.

Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Candidates List

Speaking of the candidates of the constituencies for which voting will be done on April 19, in Jamui the candidates are Arun Bharti – Lok Jan Shakti Party – Ram Vilas (LJSP), Archana Ravidas – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Sakaldeo Das – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). In Gaya, the candidates are Kumar Sarvjeet Paswan – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Jitan Ram Manjhi – Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) and Sushma Kumari – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The candidates for Aurangabad are Sushil Kumar Singh (Incumbent) – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Abhay Kumar Kushwaha – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Sunesh Kumar – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Vivek Thakur – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shravan Kushwaha – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Ranjit Kumar – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are from Nawada.
