About Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’

The 2018 movie Stree‘s sequel continues where the previous one left off. The main cast, which includes Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, reprise their parts from the earlier movies. In a cameo, Varun Dhawan portrays Bhediya. A gang of friends, led by Rajkummar’s tailor Vicky, were the focus of the movie. This time, Sarkata is terrorizing Chanderi, their town, and they need Stree’s assistance to take him down.

In the Maddock supernatural universe, Stree 2 is the fourth instalment following Munjya, Bhediya, and Stree. In the sequel, Varun Dhawan makes an unexpected cameo as Bhediya once more. In addition to Varun, the horror comedy has cameos from Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar.

India.com’s review for the horror comedy read – “Stree 2 movie continues the unique blend of horror and comedy that made the original Stree so unforgettable. However, this time, the stakes are higher, the scares are more intense, and the laughs flow even more effortlessly. The witty one-liners and punchlines are delivered with perfect timing, making the film a laugh-out-loud experience. The humour is sharp and relevant, appealing especially to younger audiences. At the same time, the film never loses sight of its horror roots, ensuring that the scares are just as effective as the laughs. The music is also noteworthy.”

After Jawan, Animal, and Pathaan, it will be intriguing to see if Stree 2 can defeat Gadar 2 and become the fourth-fastest film to join the exclusive Rs 200 crores club. Watch this space for more box office updates on Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror-comedy!
