It is also reported that America is not only going to give this missile defense system to Israel, but American soldiers will also be deployed in Israel to operate it. Recently, Israel’s missile defense system had proved largely unsuccessful during Iran’s missile attack. Only after this, Israel is moving towards adopting a new defense system.
Currently, apart from its Iron Dome missile defense system, Israel also has America’s Patriot missile defense system. But it has also proved unsuccessful in stopping Iran’s missiles. Hence, the USA is providing the THAAD system to Israel.
It is said that the THAAD system is much better and effective than Russia’s S-400 missile defense system in many ways.
America’s THAAD missile defense system is considered effective in protecting against long-range missiles. America had prepared this missile defense system to protect itself from Russia.
