Nituben Patel, a farmer from Rajkot district in Gujarat, has achieved remarkable success in agriculture, earning her the title of ‘Richest Farmer of India’ at the 2024 Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI) Awards. As the first woman to receive this honor, Nituben has become a symbol of empowerment in the farming community. Her journey began with a passion for sustainable agriculture, leading her to develop innovative farming techniques known as Amrut Krushi and Magical Mitti. These methods focus on organic and eco-friendly practices, enhancing soil fertility and crop yield without relying on harmful chemicals.

Beyond her farming innovations, Nituben founded the Sajeevan Foundation and Sajeevan Life, organizations dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. Through these platforms, she has educated over 10,000 farmers on pesticide-free organic farming, helping them transition to more sustainable practices.

One of her key initiatives, Plastic-Free Rajkot, aims to reduce plastic waste by distributing 10,000 cotton bags each year, encouraging people to adopt eco-friendly alternatives. She also leads tree plantation drives, where 1,000 trees are planted annually with the participation of students, helping to spread awareness about environmental protection among young minds.

Under her leadership, Nituben’s agricultural ventures have achieved an impressive annual turnover exceeding Rs. 100 crore. Her success demonstrates the potential of combining traditional knowledge with modern techniques in farming. Nituben Patel’s story serves as an inspiration, showcasing how dedication, innovation, and a commitment to sustainability can lead to extraordinary achievements in agriculture.

Through her Rushi Krushi program, Nituben has trained over 10,000 farmers across India in organic and pesticide-free farming, emphasizing the importance of natural and sustainable agricultural practices.

Inspired by her mentor, the late Shri Dipakbhai Sachade (Dipak Dada), a pioneer in natural farming, Nituben adopted techniques such as Amrut Krushi and Magical Mitti. These methods focus on converting agricultural waste into valuable resources, improving soil health, and increasing crop yield through organic farming. Her efforts have made a significant impact on the farming community, encouraging more farmers to move towards environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.
