The media wants to speak about everybody and anybody with whom you even go for coffee. That can’t affect us, but that is the reality.” Swastika further clarified that she had only 6 serious relationships, but it all felt like 600.

Jitesh then humorously added, “6 is appallingly low. Shame on you.” Further adding on mischievously, she admitted that it’s a pretty low number. “It’s bad (laughs). I just want to, you know, do more now. Finish as much as I can before I touch 50.” Swastika said.

Apart from her prolific work, the actress has been subjected to many headlines regarding her controversies. She is known for boldly speaking out her mind and leading life with no conditions. For the unversed, in 1998 at the age of 18, Swastika got married to Promit Sen, son of of famous Rabindra Sangeet singer Sagar Sen. When asked Swastika why she falsely accused her husband, the actress stated during a press conference, “I was young, I did not have enough sense back then and I did what my family, friends and peers advised me to do. I am deeply sorry for all that Promit and his family has had to go through. I hope he can move on.”
