Tasting success is not an easy task. It is always important to maintain that success and not let it fall down. Today, we will discuss an actor who overnight became a sensation but lost everything as well. Once called the God of Bollywood, he passed away in a tragic condition. If you are wondering who we are talking about, then the actor in discussion is Bhagwan Dada.

While for many people today, Bhagwan Dada’s name doesn’t ring a bell, back in the 1940s to 1950s, he used to be one of the most loved actors. Bhagwan Dada was born in Amravati, Maharashtra, the son of a textile mill worker. He was famous among the wrestling community, and later his name became famous with the same identity.

If reports are to be believed, Bhagwan Dada used to work in a textile mill in Mumbai just like his father. However, he dreamt of becoming a star one day. Bhagwan Dada made his acting debut with the film Criminal and then over the years, he featured in films like Fahad and Kisan.

He started acting during the silent film era and at one point even directed and produced films himself. His 1951 film Albela, which he directed and starred in, was a box office hit and earned a lot of money. Bhagwan Dada, who earned a lot of money from it, also directed a Tamil film named Vanamohini starring M.K. Rao, Radha, and Thavamani Devi.

With such tremendous success, he lived a lavish life and owned luxury cars and a 25-room bungalow in Mumbai. However, when his film Hanse Rehna starring Kishore Kumar was shelved midway, he was forced to sell off all his possessions.

Bhagwan Dada passed away in 2002 due to a massive heart attack.
